About FieldWild…
Hi, I’m Chloe Sutcliffe – an environmental scientist and field logistics specialist with a thing for wild places and meaningful data.
I’ve helped research teams work in tropical forests, mountain ranges, and politically sensitive zones – making tough fieldwork safer, smoother, and more impactful. My experience spans everything from studying human-wildlife conflict with bats to biodiversity surveys, and leading drone and helicopter missions for carbon mapping across Africa, South America, and Australia.
Before starting FieldWild, I was Lead Pilot at Sylvera, where I built systems that reduced drone incidents to zero, trained and mentored new field staff, and managed complex logistics across multiple jurisdictions.
FieldWild was created to bring clarity to complex research – combining scientific rigour with real-world grit, and keeping people and planet at the centre of every project.
